 I read the story Maui and the Sun written by Peter Gossage and here is the glossary

Ra (sun) 

Paraharaha (flat rope) 

Tuamaka (square rope)   

Here (charm) 

Karakia (Pray)

    Was this a reading activity from class? I think I only know a couple of those words, karakia and ra! How about you, did you know any of those words before you found out the meaning?
